Kanona Power Company Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to integrating renewable energy into its operations as part of efforts to strengthen power supply and improve service delivery.
Company Accounts Manager Bodrick Mwansa said the company is positioning itself to participate actively across the energy value chain while ensuring reliable electricity supply.
Mr. Mwansa explained that the transition to renewable energy aligns with Zambia’s broader strategy of diversifying energy sources.
He noted that heavy reliance on hydroelectric power, which is vulnerable to climate variability, has made it necessary to incorporate alternative energy solutions to ensure consistent and sustainable power supply.
He added that the company remains committed to strengthening partnerships within the energy sector to support long-term growth and efficiency.
