North Western Province Council of Chiefs Chairperson Chief Mumena says the traditional leadership is not pleased to see derogatory exchanges on both social and mainstream media by leaders at all levels.

Speaking when Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba called on him at his palace, the traditional leader said name calling has become so common among leaders which raises concerns on the types of politics practiced in the country.

Chief Mumena says the situation needs to be looked into as if left unchecked; it has the potential to plunge the nation into chaos.

He says leaders whether elected or appointed to leadership in one way or the other have a responsibility to the people and there is need for accountability from the leaders at all levels.
