Political Scientist Dr. Alex has urged President Hakainde Hichilema to ensure that what he says translates into action on the ground and adds that he should a find ways to implement his decisions.
Last week during a leadership workshop with his newly formed Presidential Delivery Unit leadership workshop, President Hakainde Hichilema warned Ministers and Government officials to improve their performance and avoid irresponsible expenditure of public resources.
The Head of State said the lack of work efforts being put in by some ministries is hindering Government’s development agenda.
The President questioned some Ministers and other Government officials who attended the meeting on what they have done since they were appointed.
And Dr. Ngoma tells Flava News that the president should not merely make pronouncements and then remain detached from the implementers.
He wonders why some ministers are not performing according to what the president says and he notes that there seems to be miscommunication between the Head of States and his ministers.
