The Zambia Land Alliance (ZLA) has commended the government through the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources for the successful digitisation of the land information system.

ZLA Executive Director Patrick Musole adds that for a long time, the management of land information in Zambia has been a matter of serious concern and many land holders have had their files missing or misplaced, which is inconveniencing.

Mr. Musole adds that the transition to digital land information management systems puts an end to the era of missing files and people travelling to Lusaka to follow up on their land documentation.

He states that this a progressive move which will also end corruption due to the minimised interaction with human elements.
