In pursuit of peace between the government and the Catholic Church as a whole, President Hakainde Hichilema sent a delegation of five Ministers led by Technology and Science Minister Felix Mutati.
The delegation included Local Government Minister Gary Nkombo, Community Development Minister Doreen Mwamba, Special Assistant to the President Levy Ngoma, Health Minister Sylvia Masebo as well as Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister Charles Milupi.
The delegation engaged Kasama Archbishop Ignatius Chama in a successful discourse which ended with the two parties agreeing and recognising the importance of dialogue between the church and the state.
