Zambia Postal Services Corporation (ZAMPOST) has begun transforming post office buildings across the country through a painting and refurbishment programme aimed at improving service environments and enhancing customer experience.

The initiative was officially launched at the Kansenshi Post Office in Ndola, where the Postmaster General Lydia Simakando Lubobya officiated at a groundbreaking ceremony and symbolically painted part of the building to mark the commencement of the works.

According to ZAMPOST, the refurbishment programme forms part of a broader institutional effort to modernise postal infrastructure, strengthen the organisation’s nationwide network, and create more welcoming and functional service spaces for communities.

The corporation says the upgrades will improve the overall customer experience for people accessing postal, financial, and other services offered through post offices across Zambia.
