Advocates for People’s Prosperity Party President Mwenya Musenge says it is a well known fact that when the president moves to and from his residence, the public is greatly inconvenienced especially that he has failed to move into State House.
In 2022, Former Presidential Spokesperson Anthony Bwalya saidPresident Hakainde Hichilema had not shifted to Nkwazi House because he wanted the money required to renovate the residence for the Head of State to be channeled to other areas of need and he stated that it was inhabitable.
Speaking in an interview with Flava News Mr. Musenge said the situation has frustrated many people and it is making the president unpopular.
Mr. Musenge numerous resources have been spent and taxpayers’ money cannot be allowed to continue going to waste.
He has since challenged Members of Parliament to table the issue in the house to determine how much has been spent.
