Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) Managing Director Owen Silavwe reveals that vandalism is one of the major challenges the energy firm been facing stating and it needs to be addressed.
Speaking when he addressed the media at CEC yesterday, Mr. Silavwe said vandalism disrupts service and can lead to poor quality of service from the customer’s perspective.
He adds that vandalism deprives utilities of money that they need to use to expand the network to supply power to needy areas.
The CEC Managing Director says it is a matter which requires different stakeholders to come on board to deal with in order to allow the firm to continue operating effectively.
