Police have recorded a warn and caution statement from former Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU) National Coordinator Chanda Kabwe in a case of being in possession of property believed to have been stolen.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale discloses that Mr. Chanda aged 43 of New Kasama in Lusaka appeared before the Police Investigations Team today in a matter involving a Motor vehicle, a Toyota Hilux bearing registration number BAC 7395 which is among other properties under investigation as proceeds of crime under a company named Bellum whose Directors are said to be on the run.
The motor vehicle which is believed to be in his possession was intercepted along the Great North Road around Katuba area on 20 April, 2023.
