Nkana Constituency aspiring Member of Parliament Collins Kafwembe has emphasised that meaningful development cannot be achieved in the absence of peace and unity.

Speaking to Flava News, Mr. Kafwembe said harmony within the party is critical, adding that all members should support whoever is eventually adopted as the candidate for the greater good of the community.

He noted that respecting and supporting party processes helps foster unity and stability, which in turn contributes to the overall wellbeing and development of Nkana Constituency.

Mr. Kafwembe further stated that true leadership is rooted in close engagement with the people, rather than being detached from their daily realities.

According to the aspirant, Nkana Constituency has experienced limited development, with youths, women, and the elderly continuing to face persistent socio-economic challenges that require responsive and inclusive leadership.

He stressed the importance of engaging older generations to help find lasting solutions to long-standing community problems, particularly in areas such as Buchi and Kamitondo.

Mr. Kafwembe also underscored the need to empower women and young people, describing them as key drivers of development at both household and community levels.
